Comment: Thank you Tom and Kay for taking care of Bailey when we were away recently. We were anxious leaving Bailey as it was his first time away from home, but Tom and Kay were so reassuring and we knew he was in safe hands. Throughout his stay we also received numerous updates from them. Upon collecting him he was so happy and relaxed that we knew he had been well looked after and we would not hesitate in boarding him here again and recommended to anyone else.

Comment: The Kilmessan Kennels are a home from home for our two large dogs and we cannot recommend them highly enough to other dog owners. When we go away we always know they are being cared for to the highest standard and loved by Kay and Tom. Ralphie and Shep always come back clean, well fed and exercised, calm and happy. The collection and return service is also another fantastic advantage of these kennels. Kay and Tom are always so helpful and personable, we wish them many years of continued successful business. We would be lost without the Kilmessan Kennels!

Comment: We would just like to give a very big thank you to Kay and Tom for taking such great care of our cocker spaniel Max recently.Max had a great 'holiday' last month.He stayed in kennels for nights.We picked him up and he was very happy and even had won a roette for 'best dog', so cute.We thought we would have had a few nights settling back into his old routine and expected him to howl for a few nights as he had done on other occasions when he stayed at another kennel, but we didn't hear a sound out of him which proved to us that he had been very happy in Kilmessan Ten out of ten for everything!

Comment: Hi I am a veterinary surgeon and for the last 3 years I am leaving my dog, a chocolate Labrador bitch, named Twix, with Tom and Kay everytime I go away. During the time I am away Tom keeps texting me to let me know how she is getting on and I really appreciate that. I really trust them and of course I will go back again! See you soon!

Comment: To Kay & Tom, Just to say Thank You for looking after our German Shepherd Sheba. We were very impressed with the kennels & how well our baby was cared for. As a dog lover my mind was at ease knowing our dog was so well looked after for the 2 weeks we were away.I would have no problems with recommending your kennels to anybody,& we will definitely board our dog with you both again. Comment: My dog Holly has lodged in Kay and Tom Madden’s Kilmessan Kanine Kennels since I first moved back to Ireland six years ago. From our first encounter I was totally confident about leaving Holly in their care. Their friendly manner, concern for the fact that you are leaving your beloved pet and their professional standards in the kennel gave me all the assurance that Holly would be taken care of with the utmost attention. Comment: I have been leaving my dogs with Kay and Tom for four years now and must say that I can go away on holiday and totally relax knowing that they will be well looked after and happy. The kennels are clean and comfortable and the grounds around are beautifully kept. It is truely a "Doggy Holiday Camp"! Comment: Just want to say a huge thank you to Kay & Tom for looking after Prince while I went away in August. The first time I visited Kilmessan Kanine Kennels I knew that I would have no worries leaving Prince there. The kennels are safe and secure and are set in a really lovely location. Comment: We have been leaving our dog, Riggs, with Kay and Tom since 2002. On first meeting with Kay and Tom, their genuine love of animals is apparent and nothing is too much trouble for them when it comes to the comfort and well being of the dogs entrusted to their care. It means a lot know that our dog is happy to stay in this “5 Star Doggy Hotel”! The pick up and return service that Tom so pleasantly provides is an added bonus for us. Comment: I left my four Belgian Shepherds with Kay and Tom for a holiday with complete confidence that as dog lovers they were going to take very good care of my precious dogs. Comment: I would highly recommend Kilmessan Kanine Kennels, I wouldn't be happy leaving my dogs anywhere else. I have a nervous labrador who loves going to Kay's on her 'holidays', along with my terrier and beagle. Never have any problems there, my dogs are always well looked after. Left my terrier in a different kennels last weekend & he came back with kennel cough - nothing like that has ever happened at Kay's.

Comment: I would just like to take this opportunity to thank kay & tom again for their great care of our dog while on holiday! Their kennels are of an excellent standard and highly organized! The best part was coming home (with jet lag) and having tom deliver our dog to our door!!! Would definitely recommend these kennels....

Comment: I can’t say enough good things about Kilmessan Kennels. Our two Golden Retrievers are regular visitors; we simply wouldn’t consider leaving the dogs anywhere else. You might find other kennels that are also clean and secure, but there’s something extra special about Kilmessan Kennels: Tom & Kay have a deep compassion for animals and it shows. They love dogs and dogs love them. Whenever we arrive at Kilmessan Kennels, Tom & Kay smile and our dogs wag their tails. Now, doesn’t that say it all?

Comment: I would like to say a huge thank you to Tom & Kay for looking after our beagle while we were on holidays in July 2011. The texting service is fantastic as you always know that you can send a text while on holidays and have peace of mind when Tom or Kay responds. I would highly recommend these kennell's as our beagle came home so happy and relaxed and he really seemed to enjoy himself . Thanks again Tom and Kay .

Comment: Thanks a million Kay and Tom for taking great care of our two dogs while we were on honeymoon. The dogs stayed at the kennels for three weeks and were extremely well cared for. Tom texted us regulary to tell us how the dogs were doing and to reassure us that they were doing well. When we collected them they were well groomed and had obviously been well taken care of. I will definitely leave our dogs with Tom and Kay in the future and can highly recommend them to other dog owners.

Comment: I have a cocker spaniel and king Charles who are spoilt, sleep in my bed and are used to home comforts! I adore my dogs and the only drawback of going on holidays is having to leave them behind. However since I found Kay and Tom this has not been the case. The kennels are clean modern and the grounds are beautiful. Secure kennels and grounds and alot of happy dogs. It is a homely kennels and I know upon leaving my dogs they are well looked after and come home happy after their own little holiday! I recently left them for a month and Kay and Tom picked up on how upset I was leaving them as I would miss them and while away they sent me numerous emails about my dogs to put my mind at rest. I really could not thank them enough for this. They are lovely people who have a love for dogs and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Comment: Tom & Kay, thank you! Our 4 large (unruly!)dogs, GSD-X, Malamute & 2 Dobermanns, had never been in kennels before; our GSD-X was from a rescue kennels & were particularly worried about how he would adapt,overall we were quite apprehensive & didn't know what to expect. We were soon reassured, Tom & Kay were v.welcoming and adamant that we inspected the kennels first. We were kept updated with long texts, much appreciated! Dogs loved it, Tom even purchased a bed big enough for the Mal!! To top all off, they had the dog's blankets washed & dried when we collected them! Excellent service, well-pleased, LEAVE YOUR DOGS HERE!!!

Comment: Kay and Tom give a very personal service. Received text messages on a frequent basis on how our pup was doing while we were away. Charlie was very happy and seemed to settle in very quickly, despite only being 9 months old and not having any contact with other dogs. This is a great credit to Kay and Tom. We would use your kennels again and recommend you very highly. The kennels are immaculate and professionally run and it's great peace of mind to know your dog is being cared and loved. Comment: We left Charlie (a 7 month old retriever) for 3 days. Kay and Tom were absolutely lovely. They showed us the place around and they texted us the next day to say how was Charlie doing. Comment: I would highly recommend Kilmessen Kennels to anyone. I left my Labrador (6) with Tom & Kay again recently. Once again I collected a very happy content clean dog after her stay. The kennels & general area are the best I have seen, properly maintained & cleaned. Good security too. Tom & Kay are lovely & clearly care about the pets. Also very professional. I will be booking my dog in with them again knowing I have nothing to worry about because my dog will be happy & content staying at Kilmessen.

Comment: Judy arrived to our house last January, and as we had booked a 3 week holiday in Europe before her arrival we were wondering what to do with our lovely black Labrador. After visiting a number of kennels in the Dublin/Meath we decided on Kilmessan Kennels..what a wonderful choice.. superbly looked after and from now on Judy will be having her holidays in Kilmessan Kennels.. info every couple of days about her well being was very reassuring. Comment: Picked our two dogs up from Tom this morning after weeks holiday. Was worried how they'd be . Settled back into house as if we had never left them. Had looked at a couple of kennels before Kilmessan Kanine and weren't to happy and a little anxious as it was our first time to board Biscuit and Cookie. We rang Kilmessan and showed up thirty mins later. Tom showed us around and we knew our dogs would be safe there. We booked them in from 14 sept fora week. Tom kept us updated by email .
